Thinking about the idea of the legacy, and the relationship of one's legacy to the material goods they possess and the creative projects they produce, I have decided to preliminarily bequeath 40 of my favorite objects (one for each year of my life at the time of the making of this project) to members of the audience at the launch of Susan Silton's book "Who's In A Name" (in which I am included), in the form of a certificated promise. Should I die before the certificate holder, the certificate may be redeemed with my family for the object described.
